Phil spent over 30 years in the pension fund and real estate advisory community, responsible for over $14 billion of investment activity. Past investment markets include Canada, USA and Mexico. He was the founding member of the Real Estate Group at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (“CPPIB’’) where he was Director of Real Estate - Canada and Mexico. Significant investments included joint venture relationships with Canada’s largest REITs and pension plans as well as U.S. fund managers.

President & COO

Claudio is a senior investment executive with +25 years of experience in international finance and M&A. As President & COO of Barnhart Asset Management, he is responsible for all of the operational, financial and investment activities. He is responsible for growing Barnhart Group’s activities in Latin America by advising and representing Canadian capital in the region and attracting Latin American investors to Canada. 

MD Leasing & Asset Management

Toran is a leading real estate expert with over two decades of experience. Her international experience spans across mixed use and shopping centre development, leasing, asset management, operations, acquisitions, and franchising. Toran has held senior executive positions at some of Canada’s leading landlords and advisory firms responsible for the operational execution and business strategy.

MD Investments

Richard served as President and Chief Executive Officer of ONE REIT between 2010 and 2017. Prior to the appointment of CEO, Mr. Michaeloff served ONE REIT as a Trustee since 2008 and was the Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasury at SmartCentres, responsible for the Finance, Treasury, and Corporate Legal Groups since September 2007.
